Employees, students, applicants or other members of the College community (including but not limited to vendors, visitors, and guests) may not be subjected to sexual violence, harassment, or discrimination that is prohibited by law, or treated adversely or retaliated against.

As part of the Jefferson Community College programs to educate students regarding sexual consent, and the prevention of sexual misconduct, the College offers access to the ‘Sexual Violence Prevention Program’.

You should plan on approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete this program.

If this program is required as part of a sanction, make certain to complete the information at the end of the program by choosing the ‘Verify Completion of Your Entry’ button.  Complete all fields, then select the SVPP coordinator’s name.

It's On Us to...

  • Recognize: that non-consensual sex is sexual assault.
  • Identify: situations in which sexual assault may occur.
  • Intervene: in situations where consent has not or cannot be given.
  • Create: an environment in which sexual assault is unacceptable and survivors are supported.
