Applying for Housing

First-Year & New Students

Student housing applications are now being accepted for all first-year and new students who are interested in residing in East Hall. Housing applications are generally handled on a ‘first come, first served’ basis from the date of completion (including receipt of housing deposit). We strongly encourage you to apply early and submit all the necessary paperwork for the best chance of getting your preferred housing choice.

NON-REFUNDABLE $250.00 housing deposit is required for all students at the time of application and will be applied towards the housing costs.  Jefferson Community College maintains a policy on non-discrimination with respect to race, religion, gender, national origin, political affiliation, marital status, disability or sexual orientation in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Returning Resident Students

Current resident students who plan to live on campus the following academic year must complete a new housing application and pay the residence hall deposit.  During the Spring Semester, current resident students have the opportunity to select their room and roommate(s) during the Room Selection Process in April.  Only residents that complete the application and submit their deposit by the established deadline will be able to participate in Room Selection Day.

After the Room Selection Process ends on April 24, 2017, residents may still apply for housing, however, based on availability.

 Apply for Student Housing

  1. If you have not yet applied for admission, please apply for admission first.
  2. Complete the student housing application. If needed, a printable application is available in PDF format.
  3. Pay your $250 student housing deposit in one of the following ways:
    1. Mail a $250 deposit check made payable to “Jefferson Community College” to:

      Office of Financial Services
      Jefferson Community College
      1220 Coffeen Street
      Watertown, NY  13601
    2. Pay your housing deposit online with a valid credit card

    Your housing deposit is non-refundable.
