Seth & the Moody Melix Family Show March 28, 2015

The Jefferson Community College (JCC) Foundation and Alumni Association will host a fun and educational show featuring Seth and the Moody Melix on Saturday, March 28 at 2:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater. Tickets are on sale now.

The Seth and the Moody Melix trio was formed by 1995 LaFargeville Central High School graduate and vocalist Seth Warden. After earning a master’s degree in education from Albany’s College of St. Rose in 2010, Seth teamed up with percussionist Brian Melick and violinist Doug Moody to create Seth and the Moody Melix. Their music will engage children, and parents too, with its catchy folk grooves and lyrical themes that send positive messages about character education, social and peer interaction, healthy living, the world around us, and much more. Youth in grades Pre-Kindergarten to 6th will love this interactive, multicultural musical journey at JCC.

The fun keeps going after the concert! An ice cream sundae bar, face painting and crafts for the children will be held in the lobby of Sturtz Theater.

Tickets cost $3 in advance ($2 for JCC alumni and military) and $5 at the door. Discounts are available for groups of 50 individuals and more. Tickets may be purchased online and in person at the JCC Alumni Association Office, Robert Lansing Building, Room 1-114.
