JCC to host Discussion on Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) Oct. 1

In partnership with the Cornell Cooperative Extension Association of Jefferson County, Jefferson Community College (JCC) will host a discussion about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1 in Sturtz Theater. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

The presentation titled “Facts and Myths about Genetically Engineered Crops” will be delivered by Dr. Margaret Smith from Cornell University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, department of plant breeding and genetics.
