JCC to hold Administrative Professionals Conference Apr. 27

In honor of National Administrative Professionals Week, Jefferson Community College (JCC) Continuing Education Division is offering a conference entitled Tornadoes, Turning Points and Transformation on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. The conference will begin at 12:00 p.m. with lunch served in the Walker Instructional Dining Room, McVean Center.

The conference will delve into how a person’s beliefs impact their life choices. Attendees will learn how to leverage obstacles in their life and career in order to gain a positive leverage and create a new step. At the center of Tornadoes, Turing Points and Transformations, is improving confidence and decision making skills through use of intuitive wisdom.

Mary Schechter, president of the Intuitive Organization ( will be presenting.  Schechter is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner, certified business professional through the International Business Training Association and certified professional in human resources through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She specializes in transforming business cultures to achieve maximum employee development and potential through self-awareness, personal accountability, and skill development. Schechter’s experience includes working with companies such as AT&T, Mohawk/National Grid, Syracuse University, Philips Broadband Networks and Lockheed Martin.
