Express Admission Days Ongoing thru August 18

Jefferson Community College (JCC) will hold Express Admission through August 18, 2017 for anyone interested in expediting the college application process in order to start classes on August 28, 2017.

One-on-one assistance will be available in Enrollment Services, Room 6-010 (Jules Center) to help prospective students complete their college admission process. This may include the college application, placement testing, financial aid forms and the student housing application. Express Admissions will be held during the following days and times:

  • Monday – Thursday, July 31 – August 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, August 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Monday – Friday, August 7-18, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Campus tours, including the College’s residence halls, will be available. Prospective students may pick any day during business hours to stop in and should bring these two items:

  1. A completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form (school code 002870) or a copy of their (and their parent’s, if applicable) 2015 W-2’s and tax forms. FAFSA forms are available online at https://fafsa.ed.gov/. If you have not already requested a federal student aid (FSA) ID, please do so online at FSAID.ed.gov.   
  2. High school graduation verification (copy of their transcript or GED) and official college transcripts (if applicable).

New this fall, SUNY Jefferson will offer an online certificate program in Chemical Dependency and Hospitality and Tourism. Applying to SUNY Jefferson is free and available online.
