Edward GoodallEdward GoodallEdward, a 2016 graduate of The Scots College, Australia, is majoring in Physical Education at Jefferson.  Goodall’s accomplishments on the trail this past week include having a great race at the NJCAA Division III Region III Cross Country Championship. This past Saturday at the Finger Lakes Community College course, Ed went out quickly establishing himself near the front of the chase pack.  He latched on to some strong runners and hung tough coming through the first mile in roughly 10th place at 5 minutes and 40 seconds.  By midrace he had moved up to 5th place and was looking comfortable.  The distance and a long tough hill took hold of him shortly after that and he dropped to 9th place by the top of the hill, but was determined to hold his ground against a group of very talented and experienced runners.  Ed finished the 8-kilometer race with a time of 31:22.4 and a 10th place finish in the region earning All-NJCAA Region III honors.
