An apology
A soft silence fills like an ocean
And wraps around some other foreign emotion
A moment to parade in space, in truth or lie
An apology
That ripples from an empty page
Hard as relinquished rocks
And blown away to a returning softness
A hope of mending, that swims from wish to wish
Slivers of an affection that cannot perish
An apology
By name, by fact is difficult
But in truth,
in life,
is sweet.
