Nathan Doremus Named JCC Athlete of the Week

Freshman right-hand pitcher (right), Nathan W. Doremus, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 4, 2021.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.    

Nate, a 2020 graduate of Carthage High School, is majoring in Sports Management at JCC.  Doremus’ accomplishments at the plate this past week include going 6-15 with a .400 batting average, scoring 4 runs and having 8 RBI’s.  He had 2 base clearing triples and a double.  Nate’s offensive efforts played a huge role in the Cannoneer’s first win of the season on the road in a game versus Cayuga Community College.
