Holiday Concerts to be held at JCC in December

Begin the holiday season on a high note and spend the evening with Jefferson Community College music ensembles and Jefferson Singers, the College’s official choir, as they perform their annual fall concerts at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater. Admission is free.
On Monday, December 2, the SUNY Jefferson Wind Ensemble and the SUNY Jefferson Orchestra will perform their annual fall concert. Both ensembles are under the direction of Daniel L. Mosher, Carthage.
On Tuesday, December 3, the Jefferson Singers and SUNY Jefferson Jazz Ensemble will perform for the community. The Jefferson Singers are under the direction of Sue A. Gamet, Rodman, with vocal accompaniment by Janine M. Johnson, Watertown, and the SUNY Jefferson Jazz Ensemble is under the direction of Daniel L. Mosher.
The SUNY Jefferson Wind Ensemble, SUNY Jefferson Orchestra, Jefferson Singers and SUNY Jefferson Jazz Ensemble are credit-bearing humanities courses open to anyone. Community members, not seeking college credit, may join the music ensembles by registering with payment through the JCC Continuing Education Division, 315-786-2233. Individuals, age 60 and over, may qualify for a tuition waiver to join the ensemble free of charge by contacting JCC Enrollment Services at 315-786-2437.
