Published: November 22, 2024

Prepare for a career in allied health at Jefferson Community College (JCC)! Register now for JCC’s spring 2025 pre-certification allied health program. This annual training equips individuals with the skills and knowledge needed to jumpstart and advance their careers in healthcare.

Training begins in February and March, respectively, with classes held on JCC's campus, at the Lewis County JCC Education Center, and at Fort Drum. Classes primarily meet twice a week in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This flexible schedule allows participants to balance their current commitments while investing in their professional development.

Military spouses can benefit from MyCAA funding, but they need to submit their Education and Training Plans (ETPs) four weeks prior to the training start date to be eligible. Workforce training is open to everyone and Jefferson honors employer tuition reimbursement.

In addition to allied health training, JCC partners with Ed2Go to offer a myriad of online workshops to assist any professional at any level in their career from business to construction and health to technology and so much more. Check it out! Visit the College’s website at www.sunyjefferson.edu/workshops. There’s something for everyone whether you're looking to start a new career and gain in-demand skills recognized by employers, enhance your existing skills with a certification, or increase your earning potential, Jefferson’s workforce training programs are the catalyst for your professional growth.
