  • On Thursday, May 8, 2025 Jefferson Community College (JCC) honored students, faculty and staff at the College's Annual Awards Ceremony

  • Forty-four Jefferson Community College students have joined the College's Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the official international honor society for two-year colleges. JCC recognized the new inductees during its annual PTK induction ceremony on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.

  • Jefferson Community College criminal justice student, Martin P. Daniels, Parish, received a $500 scholarship from the New York State Sheriffs' Association, presented by Jefferson County Sheriff Peter R. Barnett. The merit-based award is bestowed to a student enrolled full-time at a community college who is majoring in criminal justice, police science or equivalent and expresses an intent to pursue a career in the criminal justice field.

  • Marra Young, Philadelphia, is the featured Jefferson Community College (JCC) Honors Program student for the month of May 2025. Young is an early childhood education major at Jefferson. For one of her Honors Program options, she completed a creative writing piece inspired by a class reading.

  • The Center for Community Studies (CCS) at Jefferson Community College completed its annual North Country Current Issues Survey. In the study, a total of 1,902 adult residents were surveyed from the four-county region including Jefferson, Lewis, Oswego, and St. Lawrence Counties between April 8 through April 17, 2025.
