Apply Now for JCC Pre-Certification Allied Health Training

Jefferson Community College (JCC) precertification allied health training programs will begin on January 24 and January 25, 2022 respectfully and the Workforce Development office is now accepting applications. MyCAA grant funding for military spouses accepted. Allied health programs prepare students to sit for nationally recognized certification exams in allied health career areas:
- Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Pharmacy Technician
- Medical Billing and Coding
- Entry Level Phlebotomy Technician (drawing blood)
Classes meet twice a week during the evening, typically Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. With the exception of JCC’s phlebotomy technician program being offered at the Lewis County Education Center in Lowville, all classes will be held on JCC’s campus in Watertown. Programs, consisting of lecture and hands-on learning, run five months or less. Application deadlines apply.

6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $1899
Phlebotomy Technician (Lewis County Education Center, Lowville)
90 classroom hours plus 40 hours clinical time
Tuesday & Thursday, January 25-April 26
6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Cost: $1599
