Emily E. Birmingham Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman pitcher, Emily E. Birmingham, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 9, 2023.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition.

Emily, a 2022 graduate of Pulaski High School, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson.  Birmingham’s accomplishments on the mound this past week included throwing a no-hitter in their win against Jamestown Community College.  Emily is 2-0, striking out 17 batters, pitching to a sub 1 era that sat at .07 this week.  Offensively, she is batting .600 for the week, tallying 5 RBIs.
