Yojairo Juan, Named Athlete of the Week for the Week Ending April 23, 2023 

Sophomore pitcher, Yojairo E. Juan, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending April 23, 2023.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition. 

Yojairo, a 2020 graduate of Patrick Fogarty Catholic Secondary School, Orillia, Ontario, Canada, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson. Juan had a great week at the plate, hitting for a .375 average and achieving two hits with runners in scoring position. He also had a .542 on-base percentage and stole a base. Throughout the season, he has been one of the team's most dependable batters. To date,  Yojairo has a .373 batting average, a .447 on-base percentage, 12 stolen bases, 11 RBI's, and 1 home run, resulting in an impressive .918 OPS. He consistently contributes at the top of the team's lineup and has also become a reliable pitcher.
