Lucas Cheung Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Freshman midfielder, Lucas Cheung of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s soccer team, was named JCC athlete of the week, for the week ending August 30, 2026.  Jefferson’s Athlete of the Week is sponsored by Victory Promotions.

Cheung, 2026 graduate of Hinchingbrooke School, England, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson.  Lucas gave an outstanding performance, serving as a key focal point in Jefferson’s attack throughout the match against North Country Community College.  Cheung’s creativity and playmaking were on full display as he recorded assists on both the third goal and the game winning fourth goal, helping to propel the Cannoneers to a thrilling 4-3 victory.
