Accessing SOAR After Separating from JCC

Overview 

Upon retirement, graduation, transfer, or other separation from the College, students' and employees’ Microsoft accounts become disabled. If you wish to access your records via SOAR, you will need to log in using your J-number and PIN rather than your @live.sunyjefferson.edu (students) or @sunyjefferson.edu (employee) account.

The following links will give you access to the various modules in SOAR. Please note that you must use the links below to access the modules. You cannot use the standard navigation menu/waffle (SOAR menu icon example). 

General 

The General module is where you go to make basic updates to your information, such as updating your address, phone number, or email address. 

Student 

The Student module is where you go to get information about your time at Jefferson Community College. Here, you can view your grades, unofficial transcript, and tax documents. 

Registration 

The Registration module allows some students to register for classes. Note that you may have access to the Registration module but still not be able to register. If this is the case, please contact the Admissions Office. 

Employee 

Former employees must contact Human Resources to request tax information and other data related to their employment by the College.

Resetting Your PIN 

If you do not know your PIN, you can have it reset by either calling the Help Desk at (315) 786-6511 or visiting them in the basement of Building 5. Do not request PIN resets via email. The Help Desk must verify your identity before resetting your PIN.
