Madison N. Bigelow Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman outside hitter, Madison N. Bigelow, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) volleyball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 15, 2023.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions. 

Madison, a 2023 graduate of Indian River High School, is majoring in Natural Sciences at Jefferson.  Bigelow helped her team with a split victory this week to improve the team record to 14-5 and remain in the top 4 in the region. Her dominating Outside Hitter performance provided her team with 14 kills, 2 blocks, 2 service aces (Serving 93%) and 25 digs.  She helped her team by having a great performance by scoring during critical times during the matches.  Madison Bigelow puts in 110% effort at every practice, and it shows during her performance on the court.  Madison always puts her team first and is mentally tough during matches and only wants to win for her team!
