Center for Community Studies 20th Anniversary Reception to be held on October 24

The Center for Community Studies (CCS) advisory board cordially invites North Country community members to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College on Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 5-7pm in the Fireside Lounge, Deans Collaborative Learning Center (Building 15). Light refreshments will be served.

College President Dr. Ty Stone will give a welcome address followed by several notable speakers who will highlight the history and accomplishments of the Center.  

Speakers include:  Dr. John Deans, President Emeritus, Jefferson Community College, Dr. Richard Halpin, Professor Emeritus and the first Center Director, Ms. Denise Young, former Center Director and YMCA CEO and Ms. Tracy Leonard, Jefferson Community College class of 2006.

Joel Lalone, research director of The Center for Community Studies, will report on future plans for The Center.
