CCS Conducts Third Annual Current Issues Survey

The Center for Community Studies (CCS) at Jefferson Community College has completed its third annual North Country Current Issues Survey. In the study, a total of 1,882 adult residents from the tri-county region were surveyed. The study included questions pertaining to North Country quality-of-life, crime, agriculture, short-term rental challenges, exercise, and recreation, as well as national-level government priorities, the current level of political polarization in our society, and opinions and preferences regarding the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election.

Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its Annual Recognition Celebration on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. The College observed four faculty and staff retirees and honored the achievements of faculty and staff including: SUNY Chancellor's Award recipients, those reaching milestone years of service to the College, continuing appointments, and promotions.
