Jefferson Singers to Present Veterans Day Tribute on November 8

Jefferson Singers, the official choir of Jefferson Community College (JCC), will present a Veterans Day Tribute on Monday, November 8, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater. Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend. 

The Veterans Day Tribute will feature three components including a commemorative piece, stories and historical information about the significance of the U.S. federal holiday in a 30-minute program. Jefferson Singers are lead by Kathryn Amore Ingerson, JCC adjunct instructor and Thousand Islands Central School District Coordinator and Choral Director, and accompanied by Janine M. Johnson. 

Anyone may join the JCC music ensembles Jefferson Singers, SUNY Jefferson Wind ensemble, SUNY Jefferson Orchestra ensemble and SUNY Jefferson Jazz ensemble, all college credit bearing humanities courses. Community members age 60 and over, not seeking college credit, may join any of the music ensembles free of charge by contacting JCC Enrollment Services at 315-786-2437.
