Virtual Open House for Military to be Held on December 10, 2020

On Thursday, December 10, 2020 Jefferson Community College will hold a virtual open house for members of the military, their dependents and veterans at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.
During JCC’s open house, attendees will learn about Army Tuition Assistance, how military training can be transferred into college credit, academic programs and 8-week classes. Jefferson offers more than 40 academic programs including homeland security, criminal justice, applied business studies and more. JCC’s applied business studies program awards up to 20 credits for military experience.

Applying to Jefferson is free and applications are accepted year round.

CCS and SUNY Plattsburgh Release Findings of Five-County Women's Health Survey
The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) completed a first-of-its-kind study on North Country residents' health and healthcare experiences, with special emphasis on women's health and the impacts of adverse childhood experiences. The Center partnered with faculty of Gender and Women's Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, to design and complete the study of adults in Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, Essex, and Clinton counties. In the study, a total of 2,991 adult residents were surveyed from the five-county region between February 3-14, 2026.
