Fall Open House To Take Place On November 3, 2023
Published: October 05, 2023
Embark on your academic journey at Jefferson Community College's (JCC) fall Open House taking place on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 9:15 a.m.
Open House is an exciting time for prospective students to acquaint themselves with JCC's campus and culture. Like a conference, open house attendees will pick which event sessions they wish to attend at time of registration. Session topics include career services for undecided students, campus life (student clubs, activities, and athletics), opportunity programs and eligibility, and student employment and internships. Furthermore, prospective students will have the opportunity to hear from, and direct questions to, a student panel.
Campus tours will be ongoing! Attendees will experience a first-hand look at the College’s new turf facility, esports arena, fitness center, gymnasium, residence halls and modern facilities, providing them with a glimpse of the services available at Jefferson. A highlight of JCC's Open House is “The College Experience,” a fun fair hosted in the McVean Gymnasium where students can engage with faculty members in their respective academic programs.
For those ready to take the crucial step towards enrollment, JCC offers an optional "applications" workshop immediately following the Open House. The workshop covers essential information about admissions, financial aid/scholarships, and opportunity programs. Here, students will have the opportunity to submit their free admissions application and get answers to questions about applying for financial aid and scholarships. The optional workshop is highly recommended to students!
Inquiries may be directed to JCC Enrollment Services at (315) 786-2437 or admissions@sunyjefferson.edu.
