JCC offers more than 50 academic programs including associate degrees, 1-year certificates, microcredentials (short industry-specific bundles of courses that lead to a digital badge), certification/licensure prep workshops and workforce development training. Jefferson presents a great opportunity to complete general education requirements at a fraction of the cost compared to 4-year colleges/universities.
In 8-weeks, you can earn college credit to fulfill an elective or general education requirement, therefore, shortening your time to graduation and achieving your career goals sooner. You can earn college credit in 8-weeks to demonstrate proficiency to an employer or contribute towards career advancement. You can earn college credit to transfer to your home institution, or retake a class to achieve a higher grade. In 8-weeks, members of active duty military can earn college credit towards service promotion. Full-time students are billed by term rather than credit hour. Enrolling in a late session course is a good way to maximize college tuition.
