Jefferson Community College President Dr. Ty Stone Named to City & State New York, Higher Education Power 100 List

Jefferson Community College (JCC) College is pleased to announce our College President, Dr. Ty A. Stone, has been named to City & State New York magazine’s Higher Education Power 100 list. The list includes influential members of academia and leaders from colleges, universities and professional schools in New York State. Ty A. Stone has served as the sixth president of Jefferson Community College since July 2017. Dr. Stone was number fifty-two on the list. The College is proud to see Dr. Stone receive this distinction, in recognition for all her efforts to continue JCC’s legacy of serving our community’s higher education and workforce needs.

Jefferson Reveals New Brand Identity
Members of Jefferson Community College (Jefferson) proudly revealed its new brand identity on Thursday, August 14, 2025. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, retirees, and trustees, as well as local leaders and friends of the College gathered for a special event celebrating the College's new brand. The event featured remarks from college officials and students, as well as the debut of the new logo presented on a mobile 4-foot by 5-foot 3D statue.
