Open House

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Jefferson Community College! We hope you plan to attend our college-wide Open House on Friday, April 24, 2020 and see for yourself why Jefferson Community College is the right choice for you! Parents and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

At the Open House you can get your questions answered - whether they are about admissions, financial aid, athletics, academic programs, support services or student clubs.  You will also have the opportunity to tour a suite in our modern residence hall that opened in fall 2014.

An opportunity for students to meet with faculty members in their program of interest and visit with representatives from student support services including athletics and student / residence life.

Complete your Applications!!! Room 6-203- Admissions and Financial Aid staff
Complete your applications for admissions, financial aid, and/or housing.  Staff members from each area will be available to assist you with this process.

Scholarship and Financial Aid Information, Room 6-002, Presenters: Robyn Rhyner and Mary Perrine
An opportunity to learn about Jefferson Foundation scholarships and the Financial Aid Application process. You will also hear about scholarships offered through the Northern New York Community Foundation.

The Career Direction Connection, Room 6-118, Presenter: Michele Gefell
For those students who are “undecided” about their college major or their future career direction, this is a chance to connect their personality traits with compatible Jefferson degree programs which lead you to your desired career path.

Athletics, Room 6-112, Presenter: John Northrop
Interested in playing intercollegiate athletics? Come gather information on our varsity sports, student-athlete academic support services and transfer opportunities.
