Alejandro Rojas Bahamon Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman midfielder, Alejandro Rojas Bahamon, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 9, 2022.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Balanced Nutrition. 

Rojas Bahamon, a 2022 graduate of Ciudad Educadora Espiiritu Santo, Columbia, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson.  Alejandro’s accomplishments on the pitch this past week include two outstanding performances versus Tompkins Cortland Community College and SUNY Adirondack.  Alejandro, our #10 who plays as a CAM central attacking midfielder, was the creative drive behind 3 of the 4 goals in the Cannoneers last two wins. When asked to comment on his performance he said, “The team has played well, and we all know we can do even better”. He looks forward to this weekend’s match versus North Country Community College where he hopes to continue his fine form.
