Ashton L. Brea Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman shortstop, Ashton L. Brea, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 17, 2024. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions.
Brea, a 2023 graduate of Canyon View High School, Weddell, AZ, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson. Ashton started the season on a hot streak. Across a 6-game week, Brea has a batting average of .556, with 3 triples, 2 doubles, 4 stolen bases, 7 walks, 8 RBI, and an OPS of 1.680. His consistent bat and multiple tools have benefited the Cannoneers in many facets of the game and was a key factor to their 4-win weekend and 4-2 start to the season.
