Braiden Bley Named Jefferson Athlete of the Week

Braiden Bley Named JCC Athlete of the Week for the Week Ending March 29, 2026  

Sophomore middle infielder, Braiden J. Bley of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team, was named JCC athlete of the week, for the week ending March 29, 2026.  

Bley, 2024 graduate of Sand Creek High School, Colorado Springs, CO, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson.  Bley recorded his first collegiate home run, delivering a walk-off to end Game 1. He also added a double and drove in five runs in the home opener. In Game 2, Bley continued his strong performance with two RBIs and two stolen bases.

    The Center for Community Studies at Jefferson Community College (JCC) completed a first-of-its-kind study on North Country residents' health and healthcare experiences, with special emphasis on women's health and the impacts of adverse childhood experiences. The Center partnered with faculty of Gender and Women's Studies at SUNY Plattsburgh, to design and complete the study of adults in Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, Essex, and Clinton counties. In the study, a total of 2,991 adult residents were surveyed from the five-county region between February 3-14, 2026.
