Brian Rivera Named JCC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore forward, Brian Rivera, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending November 10, 2024.  

Brian, a 2023 graduate of Shenandoah Valley High School, Shenandoah, PA, is majoring in Criminal Justice at Jefferson. This past weekend Rivera averaged 23 points per game and led the Cannoneers to a come-from-behind win against Holyoke Community College (HCC).  Brian recorded a double/double with 37 points and 10 rebounds.  He also nailed seven 3-pointers and shot 65% from the field for the game.
