Cameron S. Winebar Named JCC Athlete of the Week

Sophomore forward, Cameron S. Winebar of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) hockey team, was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending November 30, 2025.  

Winebar, a 2023 graduate of New Hanover High, Wilmington, NC is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson.  Cameron etched his name into Cannoneer history by scoring his 50th career goal during Friday’s thrilling win. This milestone is not just a number, it represents the relentless work ethic, skill, and leadership that Cameron has brought to the program since day one. 

Winebar didn’t stop there. In Saturday’s game, he added two key assists, showcasing his ability to elevate the play of those around him. His performance over the weekend was a perfect example of why he is not only a top scorer but also a consummate team leader.
 

Returning this year, Cameron continues to set the standard for excellence, both on and off the ice. His dedication has been instrumental in shaping the identity of Cannoneer Hockey and inspiring his teammates to push the program forward.
