Jacob Hess Named Athlete of the Week

Sophomore guard, Jacob D. Hess, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending November 17, 2019. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.
Jacob, a 2018 graduate of South Jefferson Central School, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson. Hess’ high energy and leadership on the court helped the Cannoneers finish 2-1. He is always trying to improve his game! When not in class, Hess is oftentimes found in the gym working to improve his game. In the game versus Schenectady, Jake lead Jefferson with 16 points in a 94-43 win. The following game versus Fulton-Montgomery, Jake scored a season high 23 points taking JCC to a 91-78 win over the Raiders. Jake’s love and passion for the game is making him an athlete to watch on this year’s Cannoneer team.
