  • On Thursday, August 24, 2023, Jefferson Community College (JCC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its new multi-sport turf complex located behind McVean Student Center. Over 100 College officials, faculty/staff, athletes and supporters along with officials from New York State and Jefferson County turned out for the ceremonial event.

  • Jefferson Community College's (JCC) inaugural esports team concluded its first-ever season of play. Sanctioned by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), JCC's esports program currently includes five teams: Overwatch, CoD: Warzone, Vanguard, Rocket League and Rainbow Six. A highlight of the esports fall season is five consecuive wins!

  • Esports is quickly gaining popularity in higher education and Jefferson Community College (JCC) is proud to announce plans for the launch of its inaugural esports team, a sanction of the National College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE). Beginning in August 2022, JCC students will have the exciting opportunity to brandish their gaming skills while earning college credit for participating in a collegiate sport.

  • A new era has begun for the Jefferson Community College (JCC) department of athletics. On Tuesday, October 28, 2020 Jefferson launched a new branding initiative, highlighted by a new logo, 20 unique marks, a first-ever Cannoneer mascot and a custom font developed for the athletics department.

  • Nicolas A. Neff Named Athlete of the Week

    Freshman attack, Nicolas A. Neff, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) men's lacrosse team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 8, 2020. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.
