Isabella C. Soluri Named Athlete of the Week

Freshman guard, Isabella C. Soluri, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s basketball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending February 9, 2020. JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Victory Promotions and Under Armour.
Isabella, a 2019 graduate of Lafargeville Central School, is majoring in Physical Education at Jefferson. Soluri’s accomplishments on the court this past week include going 4-6 from the behind 3 point arc in their win against Cayuga Community College. She has been averaging 8.3 points per game while shooting 41 percent behind the 3 point line. Her developed confidence and growth has helped propel the Lady Cannoneers forward this semester, and made us a much better basketball team in conference play. Isabella has connected on twenty-three 3 point field goals in 10 games since January.
