Keera Lalonde Named JCC Athlete of the Week

Freshman point guard, Keera Lalonde of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) women’s
basketball team, was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending November 16,
2025.
Lalonde, a 2025 graduate of Indian River Central School, is majoring in Business Administration
at Jefferson. Keera delivered a standout week for the Lady Cannoneers, helping guide
Jefferson (3–1) to a pair of dominant Region 3 victories over Genesee (75–43) and
North Country Community Colleges (78–51).
Across the two games, Lalonde averaged 16.0 points per game, showcasing her efficiency
and scoring versatility. She opened the week with 10 points against Genesee, then
erupted for a career-high 22 points in the win over North Country, shooting an impressive
9–13 from the field. Lalonde added strong all-around contributions as well, finishing
the week with 7 rebounds and 5 assists, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
For the season, Keera has been one of the Cannoneers’ most efficient shooters, hitting
52% (13–25) from the field and 50% (4–8) from three-point range.
