Oiram Z. Williams Named JCC Athlete of the Week
Freshman infielder, Oiram Z. Williams, of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) baseball team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending March 16, 2025.
Williams, a 2022 graduate of East Side Community School in New York, NY, is majoring in Sports Management at Jefferson. He played in all six games for the Cannoneers last week, splitting time between first and third base. At the plate, Williams leads the team with a .450 batting average and eight RBIs. His strong start includes a three-run home run in a home game versus Onondaga Community College and a bases-clearing double in a win at Tompkins Cortland Community College. He has totaled four extra-base hits and boasts a .556 batting average with runners in scoring position, along with a 1.272 OPS.
