Christopher Olson & Kaylee Johnson Named JCC Co-Athletes of the Week

Freshman golfer, Christopher P. Olson (above left) of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) golf team, and freshman catcher/infielder/outfielder Kaylee N. Johnson (above right), of the Jefferson softball team, were named JCC co-athletes of the week for the week ending April 25, 2021.  JCC's athlete of the week program is sponsored by Under Armour and Victory Promotions.   

Christopher, a 2020 graduate of Pulaski Central School, is majoring in Individual Studies at Jefferson.  Olson’s accomplishments on the course this past week include being a medalist at the 2021 SUNY Adirondack Golf Invitational with a low score of 82.  Chris continues to work at his game and will play a key role in how the Cannoneers will place at the Regional Qualifier.  His dedication to the game and team are making everyone around him much better.  

Kaylee, a 2020 graduate of Carthage High School, is majoring in Individual Studies at Jefferson.  Johnson’s accomplishments at the plate this past week included having four hits, including a triple and a walk off HR that solidified their win in game one versus Herkimer County College (HCC). She scored four runs, had five RBI’s, and one stolen base in the 4-game series split with HCC.
