Delaney Wiley and Tom Beeckmans Named JCC Co-Athletes of the Week

Delaney Wiley and Tom Beeckmans Named JCC Co-Athletes of the Week for the Week Ending April 6, 2025  

Sophomore pitcher/infielder, Delaney A. Wiley of the Jefferson Community College (JCC) softball team, and freshman pitcher, Tom W. Beeckmans, of the Jefferson baseball team, were named JCC co-athletes of the week for the week ending April 6, 2025.  

Delaney, a 2023 graduate of Thousand Islands Central School, is majoring in Business Administration at Jefferson. Wiley’s accomplishments at the plate include going 6 for 12, having a .500 batting average, scoring 4 runs, hitting two doubles, and stealing 2 bases.

Tom, a 2024 graduate of KTA Dendermonde, Belgium, is majoring in Psychology at Jefferson. Beeckmans’ accomplishments on the mound include starting the second game of a road, divisional double header at SUNY Adirondack. His performance featured 5 innings pitched, 6 strikeouts, and just 1 run and 1 walk allowed in a 4-1 JCC win. In two combined starts versus Adirondack and nationally ranked Hudson Valley Community College, Tom’s stat line includes 10 innings pitched, 3 earned runs, 11 strikeouts, and only 1 walk
