Published: August 19, 2024
Jefferson Community College (JCC) is pleased to announce the start of its fall precertification allied health training programs. JCC’s medical billing and coding, phlebotomy technician, clinical medical assistant, dental assisting, and pharmacy technician training programs will begin in September. Most classes are scheduled conveniently twice a week in the evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., and will be held on the JCC campus, at the Lewis County JCC Education Center in Lowville, and at Fort Drum. Registration is currently ongoing.
Military spouses can benefit from MyCAA funding for all allied health training programs, with the exception of the dental assistant training. To qualify for MyCAA funding, military spouses must submit their Education and Training Plans (ETPs) at least four weeks before the start date of their chosen program.
In addition to allied health training, JCC, in partnership with Ed2Go and Condensed Curriculum International (CCI), offers a wide range of online workshops. These workshops are designed to assist professionals at any career stage, whether it’s acquiring new skills, preparing for industry certification, conducting an externship, accessing career support, or advancing in their careers. For more details on these offerings, visit the College’s website.
