Registration is ongoing for fall semester classes beginning August 26, 2024, at Jefferson Community College (JCC). With available financial aid for part-time and full-time study, tuition payment plans, flexible schedules, and exciting internship opportunities, JCC is the perfect place to pursue your educational goals.
Classes are offered in various formats, including fully online, synchronous (classes meet virtually, set class time) online, asynchronous (no set class time) online, on campus, and at Fort Drum providing flexibility to suit students’ needs.
Choose from over 50 academic programs at JCC, including microcredentials, certificates, associate degrees, and workforce training leading to valuable certifications. Whether individuals are interested in allied health programs, CDL Class A licensure, or becoming a notary public, Jefferson has them covered.
JCC offers 13 microcredentials, consisting of three to four industry-specific programs, demonstrating competency to employers. Upon successful completion, students earn college credits and receive a digital badge. More programs will be launching soon, providing even more opportunities for skill development.
Returning and transfer students are encouraged to complete the admissions application online at as early as possible or contact Enrollment Services at 315-786-2437 for assistance. If individuals have been away from college for three years or more and their GPA is below 2.0, they may request academic forgiveness to wipe the slate clean. Military students should contact the JCC office on Fort Drum at 315-786-6566 to apply for admission and register for classes. JCC continuing students should register via MyJCC online at www.sunyjefferson.edu.
