Erika Flint Appointed to the JCC Board of Trustees by Governor

Gov. Kathy Hochul has appointed community advocate and healthcare executive Erika Flint, Dexter, to a seven-year term on the Jefferson Community College (JCC) Board of Trustees, effective October 10, 2025. Flint, Executive Director of Fort Drum Regional Health Planning Organization (FDRHPO), brings two decades of experience in strategic planning, fiscal management, community collaboration, workforce development, and a deep understanding of regional needs to the Board.

As Executive Director of FDRHPO, Flint leads complex, multi-county healthcare initiatives and oversees regional efforts to improve access to quality healthcare for soldiers, families, veterans, and civilians, and oversees partnerships with more than 100 organizations. Her experience coordinating cross-sector projects in behavioral health, population health, and workforce development demonstrates her ability to align resources, build partnerships, and drive meaningful community impact—qualities. Prior to her role as Executive Director at FDRHPO, she was the DSRIP Director, responsible for managing the restructuring of how healthcare is delivered to the Medicaid population, a state initiative, and overseeing 11 projects and 11 organizational deliverables. Flint previously served as Executive Director of Watertown Urban Mission for four years, following three years as Regional Recruitment Project Manager for FDRHPO and five years in leadership roles at the Children’s Home of Jefferson County.

In the community, Flint is a member of the Watertown Noon Rotary, NYS Regional Economic Development Council Board of Directors, Philanthropic Educational Organization Sisterhood, and is the founder/chair of Safe Schools Endeavor with the Northern New York Community Foundation. Among her many contributions to the community, Flint has served with organizations including the North Country Family Health Center Board of Directors (president for three years), WPBS-DT Board of Directors, Watertown Local Development Corporation Board of Directors (vice president for seven years), and Samaritan Medical Center Board of Directors. 

Flint holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Oswego and a Master’s of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. 

Her first board meeting was November 5, 2025.
