Open house at Jefferson Community College this summer is June 8 and July 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Open house sessions will be held in-person on JCC’s campus in Watertown following SUNY and CDC Covid-19 guidelines. Students who submit their admissions application and register to attend open house will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win a $100 JCC bookstore giftcard. Drawing will take place on July 12, 2021. Students must be present to win.
Open house will feature a tour of JCC’s beautiful campus and well-maintained facilities and is peppered with short informational presentations about applying for admission, financial aid and student housing. Students will learn about JCC’s diverse and robust campus life, athletics, intramurals and clubs; available career services and a plethora of student support services. East Hall, JCC’s on-campus residence hall, was built in 2014 and offers free cable, WiFi and laundry facilities as well as no vehicle restrictions for freshmen. Students who submit their housing application and reserve a room will receive $3,000 off the cost of student housing for the 2021-2022 academic year. Jefferson Community College (JCC) held its annual Pinning Ceremony for graduates of the College's nursing program on May 19, 2022 in the College's Sturtz Theater. Thirty-four (34) candidates for the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in nursing were eligible to take part in this special program.
