Students Inducted into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society May 2025
Published: May 08, 2025
Forty-four Jefferson Community College students have joined the College’s Tau Xi Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, the official international honor society for two-year colleges. JCC recognized the new inductees during its annual PTK induction ceremony on Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
Each inductee exemplifies the society’s four hallmarks: scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship. Their academic excellence is matched—and often surpassed—by their commitment to sharing their time and talents with the community.
To be eligible for membership in Phi Theta Kappa, students must earn a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5 and complete a minimum of 12 credit hours of college-level coursework at JCC. To remain in good standing, members must maintain a GPA of 3.3 or higher.
