Jefferson Community College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide written verifications of degrees and past attendance at our institution. DegreeVerify is a service that provides instant verifications, via the Clearinghouse website, of college degrees and periods of attendance claimed by job applicants. The service has been designed for employers, background screening firms, executive search firms, and employment agencies that have obtained the subject’s consent for the release of educational records. By logging onto the SLC website, credentialing personnel can access the Clearinghouse’s computerized registry of degrees and attendance records. National Student Clearinghouse should be considered as the primary source provider for verification of degrees and confirmation of attendance of graduates as well as past or present attendees of Jefferson Community College, just as if the information had been provided directly by the Office of the Registrar. If you believe that you have an enrollment request that cannot be handled by the National Student Clearinghouse, please complete an Enrollment Certification Request form and return it to the Registrar’s office.
