JCC Workforce Programs Eligible for Funding Under Expanded Army Credentialing Assistance

Jefferson Community College (JCC) is pleased to announce that, in alignment with expanded eligibility under the U.S. Army Credentialing Assistance (ACA) program, additional credentialing opportunities are now available to eligible service members at Fort Drum.
Jefferson’s credentialing programs provide soldiers with access to nationally recognized certifications that align with in-demand civilian and military career pathways. Credentialing programs eligible for ACA funding at Jefferson include:
Healthcare & Allied Health
- Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS)
- Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA)
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM CPT)
- Physical Therapy Technician/Aide Certification (PTTC)
Legal & Business
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
- Certified Paralegal (CP)
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
Information Technology & Cybersecurity
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Network Defender (CND)
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Security+
- CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+)
- Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI)
ACA is a U.S. Army education benefit that provides financial assistance to eligible soldiers seeking industry-recognized credentials, certifications, and licenses in high-demand career fields. The program is designed to help service members build skills, increase advancement opportunities, and support both military and post-service career goals. Through ACA funding support, eligible service members may pursue their credentials with reduced or no out-of-pocket costs.
