Registration for Fall 2021 Classes at JCC Opens April 6

On Tuesday, April 6, 2021 registration at Jefferson Community College will open for fall 2021 semester. Fall classes begin August 30, 2021. Classes are scheduled to resume on JCC’s campus in Watertown as well as hybrid offerings online in a variety of formats, at the Fort Drum Education Center, and at the Lewis County Education Center in Lowville. Courses are listed online. Current and prospective students may begin registering for classes on April 6, 2021.

JCC offers 1-year certificate programs, more than 40 academic programs leading to the workforce and/or transfer to a 4-year institution, and workforce training to meet industry-specific needs. Applying to JCC is free!

Prospective students thinking about living on-campus are encouraged to apply for admission and then submit their housing application now.

Furthermore, the JCC scholarship application window is currently open. The JCC Foundation awards more than 270 scholarships to JCC students annually. Apply online.

In-person course offerings will be subject to NYS and Department of Health regulations, as well as SUNY guidelines and are therefore subject to change based on COVID-19 conditions. For more information about fall semester classes or how to register, call JCC Enrollment Services at (315) 786-2437.

Fall 2021 Semester

  • Full semester classes begin Monday, August 30
  • Early session (8-week classes): August 30 – October 21
  • Late session (8-week classes): October 25 - December 15

Updated on 4/1/21: press release initially indicated registration opens April 5. This was incorrect and the release has been updated to reflect April 6 as the correct start date for Fall registration.
