Free Summer Programs to Begin July 15 and August 5 - Apply Now

Published: June 14, 2024

Jefferson Community College (JCC) is offering free summer programs to ensure students experience a seamless transition to college in the fall, acquire essential skills for academic success, and receive comprehensive academic coaching. This initiative aims to empower students to test out of developmental courses and start the fall semester enrolled in credit-bearing, degree-fulfilling courses. Summer programs are weeklong, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Session one begins July 15, 2024 and session two begins August 5, 2024.

Through the summer programs, students will connect with peers and work with JCC staff, explore majors and career directions, learn about student support services, familiarize themselves with campus, and more.

Additionally, JCC will hold preparation workshops for students with disabilities on August 6, August 13, and August 20, 2024 in the Testing Center, Deans Collaborative Learning Center (Building 15), from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Workshops are free to attend and lunch will be provided. Made possible through the New York State Education Department Enhancing Supports Grant.

Space is limited. Interested students should register online or call (315) 786-2288.
