Get Admissions Decision On the Spot During Instant Admit, December 6-20

Calling all prospective students! If you plan to attend college at Jefferson Community College (JCC) in year 2025, Instant Admit is for you!
JCC will hold Instant Admit on December 6-20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday. During this time, prospective students will receive personalized assistance completing the college admissions application and learn of their admission decision on the spot as well as learn about their next steps in the enrollment process. Applying to Jefferson is free!
Students must bring their high school transcripts (or GED) and official college transcripts (if applicable) in their original sealed envelopes.

Spring Semester
Full Semester and Early (8-week) Session: January 21, 2025
Late (8-week) Session: March 17, 2025
Summer Session
Full Semester (8-week) and Early (4-week) Session: June 2, 2025
Late (4-week) Session: July 7, 2025
Fall Semester
Classes begin in August 2025.

Dulles Building Ribbon Cutting, Home for Mechatronics and Cybersecurity Workforce Training
On Friday, October 23, 2026, Jefferson Community College (JCC) held a ribbon cutting ceremony for its newly renovated John F. Foster Dulles Building, which houses state-of-the-art mechatronics labs, a cybersecurity classroom and lab being equipped with servers and other equipment for hands-on learning, as well as traditional classrooms. Nearly 75 College officials, faculty/staff, representatives from Next Move NY, Jefferson County, Empire State Development, Micron, and New York State assembly members, along with Fort Drum officials turned out for the event.
