Keira Guerriero named Jefferson Community College Athlete of the Week

Sophomore outside hitter, Keira Guerriero of the Jefferson Community College (JCC)
volleyball team, was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending October 5,
2025.
Guerriero, a 2024 graduate of General Brown High School, is majoring in Natural Sciences at Jefferson. Keira continues to prove why she’s one of the most dynamic outside hitters in the region. This week, she was instrumental in helping the Lady Cannoneers go 2–1, delivering a powerful all-around performance that showcased her offensive firepower, defensive grit, and consistency from the service line.
Keira racked up an impressive 27 kills, attacking with precision and power to keep opponents on their heels. Her aggressive play at the net was matched by her dominance in the back row, where she tallied 40 digs, demonstrating her versatility and relentless pursuit of the ball.
From the service line, Keira was nearly flawless, serving 40 times with a 95% success rate, including 5 service aces that sparked key scoring runs. Her efforts translated into 32 total points, making her one of the top contributors for the week.
Keira’s ability to impact the game in every phase, offense, defense, and serving—makes her a standout leader and a deserving nominee for Athlete of the Week.
