Jefferson Community College’s (JCC) Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) program has received a generous $15,000 donation from KeyBank to support tutoring services. The program recently expanded to enhance academic support, helping students complete college on time while strengthening retention and graduation rates.

“Student success is our top priority at Jefferson, and the ASAP program represents a powerful commitment to our students’ academic journeys and personal growth,” says Daniel J. Dupee, II, College President. “In addition to New York State and The State University of New York, we are immensely grateful to our community partners like KeyBank for their generous support. KeyBank’s commitment to education and community growth is helping to build a brighter future for our students and for Jefferson Community College as a whole.”

“KeyBank is proud to support Jefferson Community College’s ASAP program,” says Deborah Alvarado, Branch Manager, KeyBank Watertown. “Education is one of the most powerful tools for creating positive change, and we are excited to contribute to a program that is helping students reach their academic and career goals. We believe in the potential of JCC’s students, and we are thrilled to partner with the college in empowering them for a successful future.”

“Our relationship with KeyBank is a testament to the strong partnerships we have with our community and our shared commitment to student success,” says Benjamin Foster, Executive Director of the JCC Foundation. “We are deeply grateful for KeyBank’s investment in our students’ futures and for their continued dedication to fostering educational opportunities in our community.”

Funded by the SUNY Transformation Fund and NYS Legislature through a historic $75 million investment, ASAP is a nationally recognized program aimed at improving retention and completion rates, with JCC among 25 SUNY campuses participating. This fall, Jefferson enrolled 155 students in ASAP, joining over 4,200 students statewide in SUNY’s ASAP/ACE (Advancing Completion through Engagement) programs.
